Why do many Chinese believe that Western democracy is a plot to make China weak?

meritocracy. Both China and Singapore are meritocracy to some extent, which is traditional Confucianism value.
It is Confucianism (not the Confucius himself, but later folks in Han dynasty) that invented the concept to turn the Emperor into a divine figure. They certainly like the idea of the necessity of people being ruled by the elites.

. .
Then how can the system prevent this happening? Since it happened, how can the system fix it?

Any insight?

Very unique and interesting point of view.

Get rid of political lobbies. This system was set up by the elite to pander for influence.

Wrong solution. They will just resurrect with a different appearance, probably even more deceiving. When I was little, I lived in a rural village in China. Flies were common. If you had some left-over food sitting on a table, they would flock to it. Solution? To kill off all flies? What about other flying insects? Would it be easier just to remove the food from the table or cover it up?

Not realistic. I am not saying you can't get rid of those lobbies, but you can't get rid of human nature which is greed.

As long as a system open to all party, ideologies, religions, colors of skin, races, gender, ages, there will be difference, and people will naturally fight for resource. That's human nature.

There have to be some one, some system on top of all interest, suppress the conflicts to certain level, decrease tension, and serve the common good. Which in Chinese, we call it Heaven 天

There is no easy solution, or political system which can be installed in any societies, or countries. It must grow organically on their social soil, culture.

What failed India is they installed a Christian liberal democracy inherited from western culture and value, but India can NOT adept and digest.

Don't forget the influence of Fabian Socialism on India. Nehru was a Fabian socialist.

And, regarding your other points, don't forget that greed is also organic. :)

Sure, there is no solution can resolve all the problem. Once you has a solution, you will face new problem soon. Fighting with greed is a never ending battle.

Also, regarding Fabian socialism, we Chinese choose a radical revolution. India has too much culture burden, colonialism legacy, diversities, the only way to keep India as one piece is gradualism and reformism. The side effect we have seen.

When China GDP per capita reach 50000$, may be we will choose democracy

1. Chinese don't think.democracy can make a country developed. some one can give.evidence of some country .become developed bcs of democracy
2. Chinese history :a very strong central gorverment
3. Western, Why do the West want democracy in China? What we need, they always ban the sales to us, but why always passionate give "the best democraty " to us , too weird.
4.example countries accepted us style democracy, Singapore developed and Vietnam improve fast but not US style democracy, but how about others who accepted?

Neither Singapore nor Vietnam has adopted American democracy.

To me, democracy is not important. What is important is the rule of law in shaping a fair and just society.

Singapore is a good example of that.

We may not. Democracy is not the output of wealth. It is the output of balanced political powers. When one political power is heavily dominating the rest, there is no way in hell that democracy is possible. The authoritarianism is more natural and effective in that case.

Not true. Representative democracy works well in a large population. Direct democracy doesn't.
5,000 is the maximal number you could know other people. More than that media will be invited. Propaganda will be needed. Money will be invovled. Social psychology will start to work. Political manipulation happens.

In the world of engineering, it is called divide-and-conquer or complexity control. With representative democracy, each representative is the simplified version of 5,000 people. More people you have, the more layers you create.

Political manipulation only happens when you task people to deal with issues that are beyond their comprehension, for example, economy. No political system works without a sane and reasonable population.

I didn't find any successful democratic country. All anti intellectual games. You may say there are some successful countries with democracy. These countries would be equally (if not more) successful if they were not democratic countries.
