Lee Kuan Yew is perhaps the most important person who not only understands China, but appreciates it deeply.

Not only this, he had been a constant advisor to many Chinese leaders.

Didn't this guy take a deeply impoverished third world country and turn it into an advanced first world country in only three decades? You have to wonder why more developing countries didn't follow his example.

It is tough to. You need a person with the will power that he had, his tactical and strategic awareness, and his understanding of its own people.

The Singapore style has good experiences to learn for China.

Lee Kuan Yew is called "汉奸" (Hanjian) in China

What I do not understand is that on the one hand you say that a PRC only has loyalty towards its citizens and not anyone else, least of all to outsiders, on the other hand simultaneously you want their loyalty.

LKY is a hell lot positive towards China and understands it, and don't forget, he is the man who single handedly created an economic miracle, with no resources. Neither human or natural.

However, China only needs to listen CPC's advice, not Lee's, since CPC is responsible for China's economic prosperity, not Singapore.

Again, the attitude of not listening to anyone. Don't forget your attitude of not listening created the Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution. It was only after the overthrow of Gang of Four, the defacto removal of Mao, and restoration of deng, that China came back on track. Remember, again, a patriot like you is more dangerous than an enemy, because you will within your unguided love, do far worse than what an enemy can ever do.

Don't be too quick to judge, we can clearly see what he has done to his country, which is far better than lots of countries around the world. Some people should start learning in world in different perspective.

Great Leap and Cultural Revolution did not achieve, but it was totally negative either.

BTW, Singapore is merely a puny ant, and we don't need to listen a puny ant and meanwhile a US lapdog.

You dont need to, yet scores and scores of Chinese Officials through the decades have learned from Singapore, to the point that LKY had to say that he can't teach China everything.

You are not what your leaders have been. The failures of Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution, and please don't pretend that they weren't failures -- even CCP officially recognizes them such, made them humble and willing to learn. This led to Chinese growth, but what I fear now going forward is that, buoyed by success you stop learning. Because it is absolutely essential that you evaluate independently and keep learning and evolving.

During the great leap and cultural revolution, China had re-invented the H-bomb, and this was a feat that India hasn't achieved nowadays.

So are you still going to call it a total failure?

It had nothing to do with Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution. Rather by all accounts, even the ones who actually worked on these projects, everything got delayed due to Cultural Revoltion. Universities and Colleges were shut and what not! Cultural Revolution was, I would daresay, the most senseless, violent, and repugnant movement in the 20th century. China is great. It needn't compare itself with other countries to become great.

Loy stated that India is not a real country. But a country stitch together by British railroads.

I know, and to some extent it was true, but what is amazing is that now regardless of this, we are a very fit nation. We are actually very very well integrated together now.
