The top politicians in India, whether you agree with them or not, are not multi billionaires (in $$). Modi, Vajpai, etc etc. I dont see their multi billion enterprises spread across the world.

Ours on the other hand, anyone who has a little power in politics is at the very least a billionaire.

Why is this that a third world extremist country like India has made it so that their party system and their democracy works whereas our sucks big time?

May be we are following a wrong system? May be we need a presidential system where an elected leader (no matter from which party) can not directly be blackmailed by the so called "parliamentarians" ?

At the VERY LEAST we need to get rid of two most corrupt families - Zardaris and Sharifs.

Let others come forward and I dont care who those others are as long as they do not start creating another dynasty!

In India rich guys don’t get elected, the more simple your life is, the more people sympathise for you. One of the biggest reasons why Modi was elected was because Congress used to mock his past as a “chaiwala”, today he’s so popular that Congress with rich leaders is almost wiped off from majority of states in India.

First of all , the Indians they have a sense of nationhood/country, we don't!
People don't want to work for the country, they will try their best to get anything and everything at the cost of their country. The establishment< military of civil are corrupt to the core, same with judiciary, politicians, bureaucracy. There is no sense of changing the present circumstances, just a circus being played in this country where the same characters gets on stage every 4,5 years and do the show and they are than replaced with familiar faces. Most of the responsibility goes to Establishment for this mess, they are the ones who benefited the most, regarding your question about which system to use, well neither presidential or parliamentary system will change anything. If you can move out of this country than waste no time.

Business model is different. Both are same more or less. India is as much democratic as Nazis were. It's quite becoming obvious. Courts are compromised. System is rigged. You are not allowed to practice religion on your personal space even but it's OK to lynch a few here there every few days.

Besides other things,

Hamaray pass 50 hain -----.
In k pass aik he hai -----.

1) Threw Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah out and Made Ayub Khan head of state by force

2) Refused to Give the Majority vote holder Sheikh Mujib ul Rehman the reins of Country. Instead started crackdown in Majority Population half of country

3) Hanged Zulfiqar Ali bhutto despite being the most popular and powerfull Civillian in remaining western half of Country

Match the dots and do the math. There is a reason why Pakistan is ruled by the people who are ruling.
What system are you talking about?.
Current political Elite , Army and Civil Beuraucrats all are in this mess together. All are benifactors. All are billionairs.

I think the root cause is that contrary to common belief, our establishment or deep state is not as strong as in India or other countries.

One parameter of measuring how powerful the deep state or "establishment" is, is to keep it unknown and out of media. You do not hear much about the real "establishment" in USA, EU, India etc in the main stream media.

Ours on the other hand is 24/7 in the news. This just tells you that they do not have control. We need a very powerful deep state. The faces visible in the public could be any, but the economical and strategic policies must have a continium, no matter who sits on the PM seat.

This is what we see in all the "developed" countries.

Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanky are all billionaires. The Gandhi clan.

Many other politicians too.

I am not saying that there no billionaire politicians in India.

I am saying that majority of the powerful politicians is not.

Whereas in Pakistan it is quite the opposite. Almost all the politicians who ever get elected are at least billionaire (few exceptions aside).

And then apart from Congress (which hasnt been in power for quite some while), dynasty politics in the last 30+ years has not produced much success there.

Whereas in our situation again, it is the opposite. If brother, father, mother, sister has some position in power so do their other close relatives.

Simple.

Indians have rejected dynastic politics and sent the corrupt, family business of the Congress to the dustbin of Indian politics.

Pakistanis are still slaves to the feudal system. If Maryam Nawaz or Bilawal Zardari end up coming to power, governing a country of 230+ million people will be the first job they have ever held. Any country where this can happen deserves whatever calamity that befalls it.

Also, India doesn’t have power and attention hungry generals.

Ultimately, the people of Pakistan need to raise up and decide the future they want. If they stick to the family business model of the PPP and PML, then they should be satisfied with the outcome as elections have consequences.

This used to be that worst, now changed for the better. PM IK is not a billionaire politician, nor is a dynastic one. So things have changed for the better.

As for the 10 year of decade of darkness, Zardari and Nawaz, no denying the fact, but those corrupt politicans were enthrusted on us by the 'US and west' or mesaaq-e-jamhoriat, Condaliza rice was an instrument, with US there.

So now people have woken up the the fact that these corrupt to the core, dynastic politics cannot be tolerated in Pakistan, unlikely they or their kind will be able to hold the highest office.

Supreme Court will be coming with new legislature to end the dreaded horse trading.

Just check the support PM Imran Khan is getting from the people, so this is a good sign that people hearts and minds are changed. Imran Khan can be credited with all this change.

In India, Congress has ruled for approx 60 years, and just a few cases of corruption pales all the big corruption cases in Pakistan. The difference is they have their henchmen and biz groups, unlike in Pakistan.

This Lota lost the earlier contested election with just 16,000 votes, and with a PTI ticket after joining them got about 110,000 votes and won, all because of Imran Khan wave of popularity last elections.

But still proved how a lowlife he is.

As said by Faisal Javed Khan, the young PTI senator, PM IK could not be able to clean all the dirt/Kachra, but he succeeded in putting all the dirt in one place.

Now all the corrupt, the lowlife are in one place and clearly identified.
