WHY BRITAIN'S TEMPEST STEALTH FIGHTER MAY OUT-CLASS THE F-35

Europeans are already very late in 5gen race when china and russia have already started progress in this regard although they had much know how and better history for developing fighterjets,it seems dependency on u.s has made them slow
It better, otherwise its not worth the investment, unless its just a hedge against the US abandoning the Brits

in reality, UK has the best THING TO MAKE A BETTER JET, their jet engine technology... thats why nobody has a doubt about them
But engine is just part of the bigger picture. What about the rest of the tech which is more critical???

Some still live in past thinking Great Britain exist now?

The engine is the hardest part of any jet programme, and we have Rolls Royce who know what they are doing. All others have been factored in via our partnership with both Sweden and Italy ( ie Saab / Leonardo ).

UK is one of only a handful of nation that has internal capability to build every element of a fighter jet.

Not only that British companies are world leaders in R&D.

No one is going to give a damn about F35 once tempest takes to the skies.

But where is the empire on which the sun never sets?

Well the empire is gone. But that does not mean UK is not a world leader in cutting edge tech.

Are you doubting british capability to build the tempest?
IMO, they don't have the money for it even with European countries and would probably need vital American parts in one way or another.
