Pakistan init's 71 years of existence didn't experience democracy for one day. Yes there were some "elected" PMs but the real power was always with the army. Even the current PM has been "elected " by the army, although I like Imran.

World over Pakistan is known as: " it's not a country that got an army, it's an army that got a country ". Says it all really. I am even prepared to swallow with difficulty that Pakistan is a superpower, but Pakistan being a thriving democracy is too much. Even the crows will laugh.
