Why Bangladesh has left India far behind

Lungis are more popular in the UK than some places in BD (every washing line has lungis on lol) Though in the rural area, Lungi is worn proudly with most clothing, infact when I am gifted a Lungi set it's quite satisfying.

Yemenis wear the sarong, somalis wear the macawi(sarong) proudly. Lungi is our attire, but you got these bhan sod indians making songs like lungi dance lol
Lungi in South India is a culture, I have seen all wearing them. Even females' using it. Lungi is an attire for them as well.

Let's call it what it actually is - a lightweight kilt appropriate for warm weather.

I foresee a day when there will be bulletproof Lungis (made of cross woven Aramid fiber) proudly worn by men.

I recall again with fondness, the honorable Dan W. Mozena, former US Ambassador to Bangladesh whom I met on a few occasions. He was a good, sincere human being and traveled to every corner in Bangladesh. May Allah bless him.

He got his whole family to wear Lungis - the men I mean...
