Maybe Indians when exposed to internet and TV etc and then have higher expectations which can not be met by India leads to these issues

Maybe its the other way round, they lead a cushy childhood and when the harsh reality of adult life hits them everybody does not cope with it. There are news of Kids committing suicide due to pressure from their parents to study - A lot of Indian parents give too much emphasis on studies - Education for some parents comes before all else - socializing, sports, friends, Girl Friends etc. Some kids take it as the the end of life and as a restriction on their freedom. Students who don't do well in exams end their life to escape blame from their parents and peers. This is just one aspect - lives are changing and some people cannot cope with the sudden change.

If there is no ultimate purpose to life then surely it makes perfect sense to end it all. As Sartre said ' Living for seven seconds or seventy years makes no difference once you have lost eternity'.

I would encourage all young Indians who have a computer and are on PDF to take Sartre advise. I have made this point elsewhere.

That's some bad advice, I hope you are not given the job to counsel your kids when they come up with some trouble in their life.

In youth the suicide has several reason behind it existence.. India the country have very large pop which is consist on Young and the state afraid to place them in specific location. So the little work and high expectation led them to loss heart and committing suicide which is normal phenomenon inside any state...

Are you referring to the skewed sex ratio here? I don't think someone commits suicide for want of a bride - if that's what you mean? Suicide do happen for various reasons - but not for the one you are trying to point out to.

India is an open society of 1.2 BILLION people- of course the figures are going to by huge but PROPORTIONALLY India does no better/worse than most other nations. Other populous societies don't publish such figures some have no base to compare India's figures. Making something out of nothing should be a national sport in Certain nations!!

You are talking like a Chinese troll now. , Go through some suicide reports and you will know that young people killed themselves for some silly reasons. The youth need good counselling and must value their own lives more.
