Why America is so annoyed with Hasina Bibi: An analysis

No one is scared -- 18,000 illegal immigrants for a country of 1.3 billion
It takes money to fly to Mexico

Nathuram ji …

Uncle Sam wants BD to wage war against the Burmese regime.

Even offering to supply arms - at a price of course!

With Russia occupied in the Ukraine quagmire…..

Focus now is regime change in Burma….as a base to encircle China.

My fear is that US will succeed in installing a military backed government in BD (like Pakistan) and bounce the military fools into a war with Burma.

You can then kiss goodbye to BD ever developing.

US will even enlist our mullahs into the war…

@UKBengali I really fear BD generals will sellout like the Pak generals!!!!

Current US ambassador needs to be kicked out unless he stops briefing against Hasina 24/7!!!

That is 18,000 a year that get in. I'd say 90% are turned away or are deported, even from Central American countries or Mexico. Are you expecting all of India to pick up and leave?

@Bilal9 Indians are also the biggest overstayers in the U.K.

40% of visa violators are Indian. And they also bring the second most dependents into the U.K.

U.K. government might finally take action now that modi supporter Priti Patel is no longer Home Secretary.

I think we can relax as it will take BD a minimum of 5 years before it can wage war with Myanmar without suffering too much damage itself.

Remember it would need 2-3 squadrons of Western 4+ gen fighters and also an integrated air-defence system to protect vital economic infrastructure and population centres. Only then could BD wage a successful war against Myanmar.

USA is in the dying days of its sole superpower status and the more years that go by, the less influence the USA has.

A war between BD and Burma only serves US and Hinduvta interests.

It means BD’s precious resources are directed at a pointless war. A war that will also drag China into a choice where it will supply weapons to Burma. China has no choice but to keep Burma close - as it doesn’t want Burma falling into US hands.

Given the size of Burma and its geography - BD will never win a war with Burma.

Plus all the East Asian countries plus India will actively support Burma.

Even Pakistan will supply arms to Burma.

.
Look, no offense. But he’s right. Pakistan is important to the US because they have nukes and are perpetually on the verge of implosion.

BD is very important to India and as a consequence, somewhat worthy of attention to the US. But thats really where it begins and ends. This isn’t a bad thing. Our futures are bright, but it is only bright together.
The USA does not love any other country, let alone India which really belongs to the Russian camp. The USA wants to surround China with Japan, S. Korea, SE Asia, BD, and India. But, it similarly surrounds India with Pakistan and BD. It is happy that China also surrounds India in the north.

This is how its foreign policy works. It is the same with Russia. That country is surrounded by West Europe, Korea, and Japan. It is not only the geography that surrounds a country. It is the policy of the US govt. It seeks the friendship of those countries separately.

So, better you guys do not better think the USA is a permanent ally of India.

I'd say 90% are turned away or are deported, even from Central American countries or Mexico. That is the highest number from ANY country. Are you expecting all of India to pick up and leave?

you can say anything you want.

the problem is in the eye of beholder. tell us next time someone complains about illegal Indians. all the complaints are about h-1bs. 18,000 is not a large number for USA compared to 2 million Hispanic immigrants.

Let us assume the fantasy you say is true.
Uncle Sam can want all he wants. Even he cuts a big fat check I doubt Bangladeshis will even move their asses let alone wage a war. At least the current regime is not waging one.

If USA arms Bangladesh China will arm Myanmar. It cancels out.

LOL. Thanks for stating the obvious.

US doesn’t love any other country. India doesn’t love any other country. We are all literally looking out for ourselves and no one knows this better than India.

That said, your importance to the US is contingent on their interest in India and China — and not in isolation.

Nathuram ji,

That’s why Uncle Sam is insisting on “fair elections” - only way to dislodge Hasina.

Any government that comes after that will be a poodle of US.

Yes, US will arm BD but at the cost of total destruction of our economy. And they love the Mullahs - always up for American jihad.

I wish Uncle Sam would fu*k off and stop meddling in our country.

Start by stopping the ambassador briefing the media 24/7. Kick him out if he doesn’t stop.

You think Hasina will listen. people in Bangladesh want jobs. that includes the mullahs. At the end of the day the big sticks are imports of Bangladeshi textile exports. there is little need for those sticks.

Mullahs don’t want factory jobs - least of all for women.

They are happy when fighting American funded jihad.

Hasina is a great lady and a great leader. She has driven BD on the path of . BD would have become like Pakistan had some body like Khalida been in power.

Yes, you are right. But, the geographical locations of India, China, and BD will remain as it is now. So, the equation will remain the same in the future as it is.

BD will remain located in a place where regional and big powers have to woo it in terms of defense strategy.
