I am not like that
I never minded being called an Indian mostly when helping elderly Indians cross the road or helping with stuff in the store or chatting up some nice Ladies in social functions in the "Wilayat" , although I was told by one girl that she knew I wasn't Indian .. thing is I never said no and played along but all in good humour and fun. I do tell them sometimes if they inquire but if they assume I dont correct them specially elderly people out of politeness and respect.

saying namastay to an elderly Nepali couple on the walk in the morning was a regular thing while going on a morning run which used to bring smile on their faces..

You sir are a better man than most of us, who can't look past the cast, creed, nationality, color and race. I only wish more people would follow your example to make world a better place.

You only have to look around and see the biggest offense to many posters here is being called an Indian and vice versa. It is a sad state of affairs when people don't mind being called a Muslim/Hindu terrorist, bigot and racist but call them an Indian/Pakistani and you would see tempers flaring and insults coming thick and fast.
