Go...go to history class and learn why the British left Indian subcontinent and thank Hitler,Mussolini and Gen.Tojo for that.

If not for him, the British would have made few more Jallianwala Baghs and we would be British citizens till now.

And then go to the Geography class and see the distance between U.K-India and India-Kashmir.

Then finally go to Statistics class to learn what is the population difference between UK-India and India-Kashmir.

In all todays scenario kashmir will opt more for free state than merging pakistan.and kashmir's case is also same as religion based majority opting to break away from india.

The situation is kashmir is bad, i agree but i dont see india about to loose kashmir in the forseeable future. When you look at the situation analytically, the international media dont care to look at kashmir. The only ones trying to break it up are the pakistanis, but their credibility is shot to hell. And right now indian government is trying to integrate the kashmiri youth with the mainstream. Once the private ventures "venture" into kashmir to build up India inc. a considerable portion of the resistance may die down.

if studies and opinion polls are of any importance then in 1947 muslim league didnt have as much support base as congress then also pak came into being.
