Who plays a bigger role in Parenting, Mother or Father

Mothers are needed more initially, but fathers role comes into play abit later in life.

Both are important, IMO. It takes a couple (husband and wife) to fulfill the needs of their children and mold them into responsible adults.

However, a couple needs to act like a TEAM - not in the sense that one parent is too strict and the other is putting a lid over mistakes of children. Still, presence of a father make ample difference.

And it depends on that individual.
To be honest for a normal family ,Father should be always strict and mother should be more caring .
Even though he is strict he would be there for us when we are worst trouble .
