Here we are talking about totally a new virus never encounter before and here you expect everything to be confirmed and publish in just few months times like dealing with smallpox which we know for many decades? Not to mention, this virus has a long incubation of at least 14days and beyond. Even until now, new things emerge for this covid-19 with claiming of thickening of blood and cos blood clot. There are still lots of things we do not understand about this virus yet. Here we have armchair general making sweeping statement.

I think your statement is unfair to China who is first and brave enough to declare a epidemic and shut down a whole province.

If by your theory, I think medicine shouldn't take 10 years to approve and go thru such lengthy process. It shall based on a few cases, reports and study and will be quickly approved for safe usage in just few months, right?

It is also a fact that the Chinese gov decided to silence Li Wenliang and his colleagues who reported on the severity of the virus as early as December ... only after massive public outcry did they reverse and turn him into a martyr. And not to mention the death counts were completely understated this entire time. These huge errors are independent of the scope or the newness of the virus. These were clearly the fault of the government, whether it be local, provincial, or central. Only after things got out of control did the government enforce a lockdown. Sure European and the US goverment weren't prepared or made missteps ... but the initial response of the Chinese government made the virus much worse.

China beat the virus successfully in a relative very short time without prior knowledge of this newly emerged virus, the rest of the world had a two months head start to learn and prepare for it ,but barring some east Asian countries, still got beaten badly by this virus, what can I say... so incompetent.

That is not fact but just pure prejudice conclusion. Is this new virus a make up claim? Is the claim of not fully understanding this virus also make up by CPC, unless one dare to come out and claim that they 100% understand this virus? Do u dare to claim you 100% sure how this virus transmit from person to person?

So how can some be very sure what are the precise steps needed to deal with it? See how quick and easy for some to point finger and claim what are the steps needed to take since they don't even fully understand how these virus behave.

Given your all behaviour. Next time a new and more deadly virus epidemic start. No countries will dare to report anything and just allow it to spread becos end of the day, any countries who first report will need to bear the burden of spreading epidemic and ask to compensate.

Every countries will keep quiet until the whole globe is infected.
