just simple answer , Iran problem with Israel is not a religious problem , don't forget every time Ahmadinejad goes to new-york he go and visit representatives from some Jews who are against Israel . and Iran is the only other country in middle east who has a Jew representative in parliament , and the biggest Jew community in middle east outside Israel live in Iran .

Its a war between two sides. casualties will happen. innocent people will die. Its the parcel of the war. It will continue till one group feels/made to feel that its enough and stop fighting. The other side will follow. Truce will be made which will be unacceptable to loosing side. Its upto the loosing side either to accept and start a new life or repeat the cycle after some time.
