History produced many conquerers. But he not only defeated his enemies, but also eliminated every thread of Jahilliya culture in the land. Something that makes his rule totally unique.

In Iran some Zoroastrians still survive. Islamic hindustan had plenty of Hindus and Buddhists, Egypt still has copts. But the Arab peninsula completely changed forever.

Rajendra Chola I or Rajendra I was a Chola emperor of India who succeeded his father Rajaraja Chola I to the throne in 1014 CE. He is considered as one of the greatest emperors of India. During his reign, he extended the influence of the Chola empire to the banks of the river Ganga in North India and across the Indian Ocean to the West, making the Chola Empire one of the most powerful empires of India. Rajendra’s conquests included Sri Lanka, Maldives, and he successfully invaded the territories of Srivijaya in Malaysia, Southern Thailand, and Indonesia in South East Asia. The Cholas exacted tribute from Thailand and the Khmer kingdom of Cambodia. He defeated Mahipala, the Pala king of Gauda in present-day Bengal and Bihar, and to commemorate his victory he assumed the title of Gangaikondachola literally the Chola who conquered the (kingdoms near)Ganga and built a new capital city called Gangaikonda Cholapuram.

The might of the Chola navy can be explained in a single in their inscriptions which said "Bay of Bengal as a lake"
This proves the might of their navy which at their peak had 900 to 1100 ships.

Think you mean Pre Islamic Yupp the Holy Prophets PBUH conquest of Arabia was also unique in that he was the first person to unite the Arabian peninsula and build a state there which historically was remarkable because it had never been ruled by anyone
The only other person to unite Arabia was Hazrat Abu Bakr I think

My personal favorite is Cyrus II of Persia who established Persia as a power, treated his enemies with mercy,kindess and respect. He built the largest empire the world had ever seen up until that point and biggest in terms of global population percentage under his rule and later empires would rule on the model he developed. Even his enemies admired and respected him. What about you guys, who is your favorite?

Genghis conquered mongolia on his own -the toughest part.He conquered northern china on his own.Khwarezm too mainly his campaign.Only after that subutai comes to prominence.Subutai may well have been greater conqueror.
