Women are generally more emotional than men, i think she got teary at the end too.

Crying is a physiological response to an unbearable emotion... Men do have that type of physiological response, like crying...but the most used response among men... it's ++ anger/scream etc... . It's just different because of social inhibition ( stuff like men don't cry) so Men tend to choose another response...

In the End...a response= a response... crying=screaming ( in this particular scenario of unbearable emotion... )
