What? There was hardly any change. Main point was abolishing FCR which only Nawaz could do. Announce 3% for FATA in NFC award when Sindh and others were not ready to give their share for FATA. Before FATA used to get Rs20 billion for development and without any mechanism to check corruption. Now they will get Rs110 billion from this year. He also announced 1% each for Gilgit and AJK.

One should expect separate thread for FATA infrastructure development by next year.
The change was tokenism at best but it was ppp that moved in that direction by doing reforms in collective punishment part of fcr they started it pmpn improved on what they started

As I said you can hardly call them reforms, FCR intact, no provincial rights, no increase in budget etc. PPP was clearly worst era in our history.

You guys?
If you are talking about media cell of PML(N) then media cell of pti is as active in political propaganda as PML(N) or any other political party.
I dont recall it spending crores trying to replicate Putin and Modi cell model :D
Thats something only baboons do

They actually did reform some collective punishment rules big thing was they made first steps and i wouldnt call that era the worse if we remember correctly oil price was at its peak and we had a huge taliban problem we have to give credit to them they took some bold steps in Swat and Karachi ofcourse they forgot to clean their own shit before sending the boys in now they sre getting left, right and centre :D

What can PPP/PTI do to compete with N? Clearly they have lost it when it comes to well being of this country and development. So their last and ultimate card is to play punjab card. Yep, PPP used to do it in south punjab. But when one look at south punjab and interior sindh, one wonder what the **** they are talking about? Interior sindh is about 3 times less developed then south punjab. PTI is now playing same card.

Only some months ago market was demolished to punish tribals as per collective punishment law. Please inform your self before saying anything else about so called PPP era reforms. You can hardly call it even baby step. At this rate another 100 years would have passed.

Taliban problem which PPP could have taken care of in 2011 like N league did.

In August 2011, President Asif Ali Zardari enacted a presidential order to amend the FCR. Widely viewed as the most substantive changes in the 110-year history of the regulation, the reforms included new time limits on the amount of time local administration officials can wait before informing that they have taken someone prisoner. In addition, the 2011 amendments[8] placed new restrictions on the collective responsibility clause in the regulation. Among others, changes included:[9]

Protection of women, children below 16 and all people above 65 from collective responsibility arrest
Prohibition against arresting an entire tribe under collective responsibility
Time limits for disposing of cases
Provision for a more independent appeals process
Appellate authority power to review decisions
Strengthening of the FATA Tribunal
Power to transfer cases from political agent to assistant political agent
Concept of bail
Jail inspections
Voluntary reference to a council of elders and Qaumi Jirga (people's assembly)
Inclusion of local customs and traditions (Rewaj)
Fines on communities in case of murder
Forfeiture of public salary for involvement in crime
Arrest by authorities other than political agent
Checks on arbitrary power to arrest
Punishment and compensation for false prosecutions
No deprivation of property rights without compensation
Audit of political agent funds
If implemented in true letter and spirit of the law, these changes could have had a significant impact on the civil and human rights of citizens in Pakistan's tribal areas. However, the changes have been widely criticized and the political administration accused of lacking the will to implement and enforce the FCR as revised in 2011.

Please do check details of 2011reforms oh and on market well lets just say fcr military edition is same :D

lol at these reforms. You can only reform FCR so much. Only real game changing historic moment is approval of FATA reform committee recommendations.. No one even knows about so called PPP FATA reforms.

Wana market dynamited as punishment for major’s killing

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Local authorities on Friday dynamited a market in Rustam Bazaar of South Waziristan’s headquarters Wana under local laws as a punishment for an explosion which killed an army officer and injured many others earlier this week, officials and local residents confirmed.

Political Agent in South Waziristan Agency Zafarul Islam Khattak told Dawn that the action was taken under the collective and territorial responsibility clauses of the Frontier Crime Regulation (FCR).

The British colonialists had devised FCR as an instrument of subjugating and discipline the Pakhtoon population to establish the writ of the colonial authority in these areas.

While drafting the regulation, the British had relied upon some customs and traditions prevailing in the tribal belt, but these traditions were distorted to suit the governments plan of securing convictions at will.

Officials identified the bazaar as Al-Muhib Market, where an army officer, Maj Imran, was killed and 10 others injured in an explosion during a search operation.

Following the incident, the local authorities imposed a curfew on the Wana Bazaar, forcing more than 6,000 shops to close down.

The market owner, Ali Wazir, said that they had suffered huge losses due to the demolition of the two-storey market. He argued that while explosions took place all over the country, nowhere were markets dynamited as a punishment.

Local sources said the Wana Bazaar was currently under the control of security forces and efforts by local elders to resolve the issue through Jirga had failed to produce any result.

2011 was when Osama died that unleashed a new monster that was,era when these baboons funded sectarian outfits in Punjab plus Zardari had traitors like Haqani

People not knowing them doesnot mean they didnt exist just simply googling will give you your desired results

Dude patwari and pothari are two different terms
Ptians label patwari to supporters of PML(N) and it has nothing to do pothohar

I know I was just skim reading through the posts.

Even though PMLN is popular in potohar, I now realise that person was just making a really bad joke.

Yes...way to go!! IK for PM!!
Enough domination by punjabis in pak politics!

more than half ptians supporter just live on internet/facebook and on pdf thats why imran khan is known as cyber PM of pakistan
Getting votes from our poor uneducated people that sell their votes or misguided one's doesn't make Nawaz PM.
Just because half the country is starving and one time meal gets you votes ,What else you think benazir income support funds are?
I know that PML-N also used similar tactics ,IT is the ground reality of our POLITICS and PEOPLE
The PPP feeds people one time biryani and monthly income in the name of benazir in sindh and gets their votes ,While at the same time Karachi was burning with average 10 deaths per day and even today Sindh is the worst province in Pakistan in terms of Governance.
I just don't see N league losing. The kind of work they have done in Pakistan since 2013 is unparalleled in history of this nation. They have almost ended terrorism and load shedding, something impossible to imagine in 2013. Investment is pouring in from all corners.... ok wait its just China but still. FATA reforms and giving Gilgit provincial rights are historic achievements which will shape next decade of Pakistan. Balochistan situation improved by leap and bounds.

Karachi is again peaceful, you guys remember ethnic target killings and closing Karachi on order from London? Not anymore thanks to Mian Nawaz Sharif.
A country that made Nawaz sharif a trillionaire deserves something in return and many of the terrorism and CPEC related developments are from the army and CHINA .

The Prime-minister pays zero tax as compared to the Trillions of offshore and nationwide companies they own.
They won't ever do TAX reforms and neither will do anything to help NAB catch criminals.
These people are white criminals ,They do corruption in a way its legal because of our weak system.

As i said,Nawaz and his party is a blockade in the political evolution of the country, So try to do justice to your own mother-land.
If we continue to elect these people ,We should switch our system to Parliamentary monarchy of bhuttos and Sharif chorr's.

I'm not saying Nawaz hasn't done any financial corruption. But lets remember current Panama case is from 90's! PTI was late to accept reality of CPEC but look at them now. I'm happy Khattak has put aside PTI politics for development and now you see dozen development projects under CPEC for KPK. But all PTI has to show for is billion tree tsunami. In education despite gigantic claims N league has done better in punjab since 2013.

N might win again based on what they accomplished between 2013-2018.

Please provide stats to prove your claim that Punjab has performed better than KPK in education or was it just a siyasi biyan just like your PM
