It seems like these attacks are increasing. One thing to note it’s not a random act... this group have scoped out the masajids and then targeted them in one time frame. Muslims in the UK are getting increasingly worried. The police are co-operating and advising them to what security measures they should take.

British counter-terrorism officers probe mosque attacks
5 mosques in city of Birmingham attacked

(CNN) - Counter-terrorism police have launched an investigation after five mosques in the British city of Birmingham were attacked on Thursday.

West Midlands Police first responded to reports of a man smashing the windows of a mosque in the north of the central English city with a sledgehammer at 2:32 a.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered the attack had taken place some time earlier.

In less than an hour, police were subsequently called to reports of a similar attack on a mosque nearby, and officers then began patrols around two other places of worship, where they discovered further damage.

At 10:03 a.m. officers were called to another mosque following reports of a fifth attack in which windows had been smashed.

West Midlands police announced that they are treating the attacks as being "linked," but noted that the motive remains under investigation.

Forensic officers are currently working on scene to identify evidence, and CCTV footage is being examined.

Councilor Majid Mahmood described the attacks on Twitter as "disgusting" and said that Muslims were "afraid after the terrorist attacks in Christchurch" last week.

UK Home Secretary Sajid Javid also called the events "deeply concerning and distressing." "Let me be clear -- hateful behavior has absolutely no place in our society and will never be accepted," he wrote on Twitter.

The attacks come less than a week after the mass shooting at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, in which 50 people were killed.

West Midlands Police Chief Constable Dave Thompson expressed shock over the attack and noted that officers are working closely with religious leaders.

"Since the tragic events in Christchurch, New Zealand, officers and staff from West Midlands Police have been working closely with our faith partners across the region to offer reassurance and support at mosques, churches and places of prayer," he said in a statement.

"At this difficult time, it is incredibly important that everyone united against those who seek to create discord, uncertainty and fear in our communities," Thompson added.

West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner David Jamieson added: "Attacks of this nature have no place in our community and will not be tolerated. I want to reassure people that West Midlands Police is doing all it can to bring the perpetrators to justice."

In a string of Islamophobe terror attacks, a man vandalized four mosques in Birmingham on Wednesday night, 20th March, terrorizing the in-house residents and neighboring Muslim community.

Reports of a man smashing windows with a sledgehammer on Birchfield Road were received at 02:30 GMT, local police told the press. Officers were then alerted to a similar attack on Slade Road, Erdington, about 45 minutes later.

The damage is being linked to further attacks on mosques in Aston and Perry Barr, West Midlands Police said. Officers from Counter Terrorism Unit of the British law enforcement are probing the attacks.

The terrorist attack was condemned all across the world, with several world leaders, denouncing Islamophobia and the Western media’s role in fueling the prejudice against Muslims.

A spokesperson for Witton Islamic Centre on Witton Road, Aston said CCTV captured a man smashing windows at about 01:30. “The the whole of the front windows, about six, were smashed,” he said. “Because of the force he used it’s gone through the windows and into the mosque itself”.

These attacks come a week after the heart-wrenching massacre in NewZealand by a White Supremacist terrorist on Christchurch Mosques, claiming the lives of 50 Muslims. The terrorist attack was condemned all across the world, with several world leaders, denouncing Islamophobia and the Western media’s role in fueling the prejudice against Muslims.

The term Islamophobia was coined and brought into effect post 9/11, with the Western media having linked the now-dubious September 11 attacks to fundamental Muslim values and incorporating keywords that instigated feelings of hatred and fear of Muslims in mass media transmission. The rhetoric was towed until Pakistan, along with a few other allies sacrificed lives and capital against the consequence of Western policies that led to terrorism in South Asia and across the world.

The actions of Pakistan and ally countries in global counter-terrorism, along with logical rhetoric towed by journalists, authors, content creators, and social media influencers are now dialing down Islamophobia and recognizing white supremacist and Islamophobe terrorism.

The masjid imams are busy playing politics instead of listening to new generation that knows how to handle this situation .you give them many ideas and speak to them but they refuse to follow and instead talk about non importance things.
