White House: ‘Call it what it is — the China Virus’

"China lied and people died" was trend on Twitter today with support6from both parties participating. Bipartisan strong reaction might be coming once this crisis is over.

2009 H1N1 pandemic actually started in Mexico.

There is no direct evidence showing that the 2009 swine flu said to have originated in Mexico through zoonosis from pigs was any leak of the restored Spanish flu, but the previous swine flu outbreak of 1976 began at a U.S. army base in Fort Dix, New Jersey, just like the Spanish flu of 1918.

Start of viruses:

Swine Flu - Fort Dix
Spanish Flu - Fort Riley, Kansas
Mexican Swine Flu - Ft Detrick
COVID-19 - Ft Detrick/North Carolina Labs

Wherever it came from, do anyone feel better after all those name-calling? Will people take relief and stocks rebound after calling it 'China Virus'?

No you are not.. you are carrier of deadly virus.
You are, cause you don't test your people, so the change that you are virus carrier is far bigger than any other countries.

First case in US was of course detected in US. It was AFTER the outbreak in Mexico.
In the spring of 2009, a novel influenza A (H1N1) virus emerged. It was detected first in the United States and spread quickly across the United States and the world.

Spanish flu shouldn't really be called as such. It was named so just because Spaniards reported more openly and the king was inflected, too, while other countries suppressed the news. As of its origin, 3 theories are floating and no conclusion.
