Which engine will be best for the J-31?

OK so i was browsing the web looking for viable cruise missile engines and the al222 came to mind. and whist searching for the latest updates i found this quote

i know a recent Janes article said they will be sticking to the rd-93 for the fj-17 but if one thinks beyond the jf-17 the j-31 may be a suitor. i was doing some further reading and there is a al222 variant with omnidirectional thrust vectoring under development. and available at the clients request. but the situation in Ukraine with the civil war may hinder this.

now the jf-17 wont be getting this engine as its very clear they will be sticking to the rd-93

but what do you guys think of which engine will be best for the j31? and why

A: RD-93 modernized with more power
B: WS-13 which is undergoing testing in china on a fc-1 test frame
C: AL222 (10 tonne class with tv)

WS-13 is not choose by PAF for JF-17 becos not much info has been offer to PAF side. Even the prototype of JF-17 are tested at chengdu with a Chinese test pilot. The pakistanis haven even see it yet. Currently it is still under testing, only once completed. Then the info will reveal to the public and PAF.

It is an engine design not only for JF-17 but future export FC-31 also. It will give enough thrust for it to supercruise.

WS-13 has estimate 98KN thrust. Twin engine has enough thrust for super cruise.

My choice in not included in it I think EJ-230 with TOT to Turkey is the best option.
I know it's an expensive engine but J-31 is not an ordinary option for PAF.
Although I have chosen my choice from given options.

A 5th gen fighter really should be able to supercruise and have TVC.

the rd-93 is not super cruise or tv capable. where as the ws-13 is supposedly is capable of super cruise and possibly tv too. super cruise is a feature that will be on the al222 varient and the al222 has omni directinonal tv so thats no biggie.

thats the tfx. im talking exclusively about the j31 here. yes the tfx is an option for you guys and its a very good option

I think you should have added EJ200 to the list as well for voting

ej-200 will be to expensive and extremely unlikely to be installed on the jf-17. but if saudi arabia were to buy the jf-17 for whatever mad reason, they will go for the ej-200 engine due it being the same engine on the Typhoon. but thats not going to happen but pac did speak to rolls royce about it though.
