Which country has the best geographical location?

I don't think Pakistan is at a disadvantage Geographically. Unfortunately, We don't know how to use our geography to our advantage or we don't yet have the resources to do it. Pakistan has a wonderful coast line at a very geographically advantageous area in the world. It is one of the few rare bread baskets in the world that allows for population growth and sustainability of 200+ million citizens. The climate is wonderful. Pakistan is one of the few rare countries where you would be able to grow almost anything in house. As far as the enemies, Pakistan's Geography actually protects it from it's enemies. Only fully open area is in the Punjab flat lands but our terrain protects us from Iran and Afghanistan and the India from Kashmir side. You also have the the Indus River delta in Sindh and then there is the thar desert. So it is not all gloom and doom for Pakistan.

Pakistan's coast line and ports have the potential to make Pakistan a very important country in the future. Pakistan is the link to Central Asia for the world. It also can give China the energy "independence" it requires. Pakistan's geography is even advantageous for Pakistani navy. If Pakistan focuses on it's naval power it in an area that sees around 30 % of world's oil traffic. It can develop the power to close that area if it wanted.
Pakistan is actually in a very advantageous location in the world but what we need is political unity. Inshallah we will have that too.

If Pakistan was to obtain Kashmir then it would even become more independent and would never go thirsty. It would have also be able to generate massive amounts of energy from the rivers there.

Let's beat them at their own game then

If Pakistan had even an ‘okay’ economy it would be a major power projecting influence and be able to tackle Afghan leaders etc

It is a high shame previous country leaders wasted the time and didn’t fortify & develop an industrial economy in the 1990s-2010.

Yeh, yeh of course they were and my grandad owned a gold mountain.

[source for your claom or is it a fable]

Why would I come with shitty claim. Quraysh were wealthy as shit in ancient times. Everybody knows this. All sorts of caravans entered the city from everywhere. You can find the answer in Islamic sources alot of things about them is recorded there

Right on point.

I'm gonna go against the crowd as usual- I don't care about being a superpower for me best location just means safest, isolated and far from war any potential conflict so for me it's def New Zealand plus in terms of nature it's f ucking spectacular and really unspoilt . U.S still gas deal with Mexican border issues drug cartels, illegal immigration etc.

.
The US obviously as it proved in WW2 it is largely isolated from the conflict zones and has coastline on two oceans.

Possibly also places like Brazil because of its water and land resources, largely unaffected by conflict or warzones.

this is the answer in sea power age.
it's correct in a short period of time in the history.

I can say Indonesia is one of best country in term of its location. It is all in island which mean will not be easy to be invaded and has independent water supply, it is also located in busy trading route (Malaka Street) in Asia Pacific that make it has great economical advantage on global trade.

Its neighbor is also relatively weaker and smaller. There are still many forest in Sumatra/Kalimantan/and Papua which is useful for guerrilla type of war that make it very difficult for even a superpower to conquer it. The land is also fertile with a warm climate over the year which is useful for agricultural activity.

The other country who is also lucky in term of location is Singapore. If Singapore is not located on the entrance of Malaka Street the story will be different.

Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and other states in this location are all vulnerable due to their economic and geopolitical significance; war in the Pacific showed as much. South China Sea (SCS) dispute have superseded since and it might turn explosive at some point.

Australia is relatively in a much better position to escape the worse of warfare just in case.

Going to go against the grain here.

Pakistan and Afghanistan. Pakistan functions as an agricultural and manufacturing hub with an important coastline, while Afghanistan is a veritable natural fortress in case of attack and the prime location of any economic activity in Eurasia.

It is my firm belief that the two of us will merge together to form one country in the future, and this country will become the super power of Asia.

Allama Iqbal said in his poetry that Afghanistan is the Heart of Asia, and anyone who controls this land, controls all of Asia.

It is Pakistan’s destiny to expand Northward and border CARs, creating an important link and the shortest route to the sea.
