On top of my head, I can think of China and Russia. The US might as well. Australia is still technically part of the same state as the UK, Canada, Jamaica, New Zealand, all having the same head of state, making this state the biggest in the world.

It doesn't matter what countries back republicanism in Australia. If Australians don't back it, then that's all that matters.

Also you are wrong about being the same "state" as those other countries. Sharing the same ceriomonial head of state doesn't mean those countries are the same state.
