Are there any plans for the F22 Raptor to be exported to countries that are interested to buy it?

No, very unlikely. There is technology in it that we do not want to share.

So no chance of even stripped down versions?

Is India interested for F-22?

I dont think there is any public comment on it. But obviously air forces round the world would be interested in getting their hands on the beast.

There is absolute no possibility what so ever. The US has refused its closet allies i.e. Israel, Japan etc. The best tech the US will keep for itself. They will sell the F-35 to a number of nations and there are plenty of partner nations involved in the program as well.

yes it is.. called F-35 JSF.

F-35 is a closest alternative offered to America’s closest and oldest allies.
re F-22, The sale of this beautiful aeronautical marvel is banned by American federal law. Since its inception this ban has been upheld by the congress. it’s a giant leap in the concept of air war and technology much like the jet plane was when it replaced the propeller planes.

I don’t think it would be offered even after 15 years as mentioned by Skulls and bones because look at the F-15 which initially few back in 1970s and is still flying high and mighty so going by these standards F 22 is still in the infancy stage of its life. it would become even more stronger and more mysterious as the times goes by.

If you have ever seen it flying the only words that come to mind are… “like a diamond in the sky”

Well US economy would need to sell its tech to survive. May be 10-20 years down the road or may be a down-graded version of it would do. Once F-15 and F-18 was in the "neva" category but see how anxious they were to sell this to India. Time will come for F-22 as well.

no chance it will ever happen . and if it does it will go to Israel first .

It will not go to any country... ever.
They have developed the JSF (F-35 Lightning II) for that purpose.

FYI, the allies lucky enough, UK included, to get their paws on this F-35 would be getting a highly watered down version of what the USAF/USN/USMC would be flying. US is not even parting source codes for the F-35 even to UK!!!
