not necessarily, only if it was in one of the routes used by commercial air traffic, they do fly waypoint to waypoint along highways in the sky but any unidentified blip needs to be investigated, and taken down if necessary.

It is standard SOP AROUND THE WORLD, not just in India (unless some new vedic rule is being applied here) that any UFO or drifting object like a weather balloon that is found in controlled airspace is taken down.

really ? and what if they turned out to be casual enthusiasts in a ultralight or glider or a hot air balloon, you just kill them ?

standard SOP around the world is to ID it first, and then take it down after clearance, otherwise you escort them and then throw the rulebook at them.
