She was probably the biggest box office draw at the time. She was the main force in the Bollywood Blockbuster Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. Men, woman, children, politicians, Everyone loved her.
She was the last actual Female Superstar the industry has seen. The term Madhuri Mania explains itself. Even Aishwarya Rai hasn't achieved the amount of super-stardom that Madhuri had. Actresses of today could only dream of achieving super stardom and acceptance the way Madhuri did. No Katrina Kaif or Kareena Kapoor of today can even begin to achieve what Madhuri did.
