I think we should never use photos of poor hungry people to make a point (speaking to people of both sides here).
I have tried to go hungry voluntarily full day and eat only at night. I know now how hunger feels after just those few hours. You eat anything that comes in your hands.
Now imagine a person (or child) that faces greater hunger, but for him or her there is no choice. Nothing is there to eat, nothing falls directly into their hands.
After seeing hunger, I cannot use such images or examples to score silly points on the internet against another guy the other side of the border, both of us who never have to face actual real hunger ever ourselves.
Please.
