When indian and Pakistani Punjabis meet after 70 years

Not really.I am from Punjab region and I have experienced a village life.Those are genuine emotions.
We will forever be United by our common language, traditions and culture but ones who really lived with each other before partition take it very seriously.

Good for propaganda but in real life no one cares Indians have a deep rooted feeling that creation of Pakistan was wrong we are same people etc that's why they create such dramas in real life people don't talk with their close blood relatives all their lives most of the time personal feuds which lead to killings are between close relatives I don't feel connected to people of my own tribe or clan living in some other area of my own district and here people think people care for each other just because of shared language and language too is not same there are a lot of variations in the Punjabi spoken in Pakistani Punjab

What about Hindus and Sikhs who wanted to go India. Were they showered with rose petals. I have read about Hindu villages in Pakistan's Punjab but not a single Hindu managed to survive

It is a myth that most of the people of India think partition was wrong...Rather we are irritated with Gandhi as why he did not make partition complete where India should have been land of Non Muslims and Pakistan for Muslims...Our problem and frustration with Congress for partition due to different reason that why partition happened

This is Pakistani imagination. Just like how we think Chinese are our best friends. Saudis and arabs are our brothers etc.

Pakistan certainly is very very important. But the people of Pakistan have actively be the driving force for that importance. And we shouldn't exaggerate someone's friendliness towards us.

You are right about congressi Indian muslims upto a certain degree. Alot of em have changed their tune since Modi came. And now openly twll us how the hindus are oppressing them in Hyderabad, Assam etc.

Sikhs love Pakistan but not all of em. And not to the extent we might imagine.

We really need to snap out fo the whole iron brother delusions we have about certain countries in our neighborhood. And become a rational, results driven countey.

Interesting. Why do Indians and Pakistanis get along the most with each other abroad whereas in the subcontinent they have nukes pointed at each other?

I have noticed more hatred between Serbs and Croats, Israelis and Palestinians, Irish and Englishmen when said nationalities confront each other abroad, but Indians and Pakistanis whether Hindus or Muslim get along most abroad than they do with other nationalities, even Muslim ones from Arab countries.

I would say that Indian Punjbi and Pakistanis get along really well.
I grew up around Indian Punjabis and they are great people.

The rest of Indians, espcially Hindus, not so much.
There is till anamosoty and mistrust even overseas between the two groups.

The fact that you invaded Kashmir proves this to be wrong.

If you really wanted a non muslim India then invading Muslim Kashmir makes zero sense.

That's a bit of a reach. All the Pakistanis I know of (myself included) prefer to associate ourselves with other Muslims.
