When do you wakeup in the morning and why ?

It's told to not eat sweet , tea , coffee, green tea before sleeping otherwise sleep will not come to u .

I used to have this sleep problem too . I hit the bed and sleeps not coming ... so I used to let my body freed and relaxed .. I let my all parts be on their own , like body ko bilkul halka chor dena. my foot and legs , I let them lightly .. I used to feel sleep is coming to me . It's on my foot and is now conquering my mind .
Sleep first conquers your legs and then body and mind .
Yeah I try not to consume any caffeine(coffee/tea/etc) nor anything sweet...but I don't think that's the issue. It's just my natural cycle...and though I can force it at times but on average it reverts back to the original. The issue with me while forcing myself to sleep is the constant thoughts...even just laying there with my eyes closed...my mind is constantly racing. Thinking about some upcoming meeting...or that my car's maintenance light just came on...or even just something that has nothing to do with me...basically anything and everything.

What I need to learn in order to relax is empty my brain of thoughts...as the Chinese proverb goes..."I must learn how to silence the chattering monkey".

If I have work them I'm awake at 04.45 and out the house for 05.30.

No work I'm usually up by 8am.

Trust me I have hit many a person and they started to snore. I blame the bed :woot:

My first alarm is set for 445, and thereafter every 15 minutes till 6 a.m.

I then have 15 minute alarms from 730 all the way through to 9 a.m.

I'm still late to work every day ....

I wake up at 6 am on weekdays and between 6 to 7 am on weekend. I recently resigned and work free now but still my routine is same as it used to be earlier when i had to go to office.

PS: i sleep at 11 pm.

Edit 1 - The first thing i do after waking up is smoking . This is sick but old habits die hard. (remember engineering hostel)

I rise at 5:00 snooze button till 5:20 then up and make a tea and roll a spliff
Every morning for the past ten years .

I go to sleep smoking Ganga every night for years continuously.

But I do love my weed
