Here is real story of a Target killing in Karachi..Narrated to me by Close relative if the deceased...I wont take any names.Just Mr.A and Mr.B.Both were cousins among themselves and the story was narrated to their Grieving cousin who lives in Manchester.
The deceased was a shia,and was in some sort of Journalism business,but not a journalist himself..
Mr.A and Mr.B park their car outside an Imam bara (Shia mosque) somewhere in Kharadar Karachi.They go inside,say their isha (Night) prayers and come out after about half an hour..Other people are also exiting the mosque but their car is parked in a dark area and at a distance from the Mosque.
As they are entering their car,two men appear behind them and poke them with what appears to be guns,and ask them to quietly sit in the car or get shot.
Both of the now deceased are shocked but follow instructions.Their car was last seen being driven in the general direction of Manghoo pir.
Two days later people notice two unusually large bags dumped on a garbage skip near Civil hospital Karachi.
People get suspicious and call police.Mr.A and Mr.B are found dead in the bags.
Along with the dead bodies a very detailed account of how they were murdered is found,and no reasons given.
The note said something like this.
" we had been observing this imam bara for some time,and selected Mr.A We had been looking for the right moment to kidnap him for some time. That night he did all the things right for us. We didnt know Mr.B and didnt care.
While he was entering his car after night prayers ,we kidnapped him.He offered no resistance.We asked him to drive to a place outside Karachi.He complied.After reaching the desired place we blind folded both of them,took them to a room.We started with Mr.A , we first used a long steel nail.The nail was hammered in the middle of his forehead,as he shouted the other person listened and he was frightened.We had to hammer a nail in his forehead too.Then we shot both of them in the head.Their car will be abandoned somewhere in the city"
No names on the note,no claims of responsibility,just an account of what happened,and the car was found some days later.
