What's your opinion on Chiropractor's?
Has anyone ever been to one? or currently goes to a Chiropractor?

I have heard that sometimes they will take Xrays of you and when you come to see it, they will show you an xray of someone who's back or neck is already messedup? This way you will get convinced that something is wrong with you and endup spending thousand of dollars or rupees or whatever in treatment.

Please share your experiences. Thanks

I am young 25 years male maried qualified Haqeem by profession. Currently I am running my own clinic. I have been suffering from low back pain since last 3 years. I had numerous type of treatment remedies. But non of them worked for me. I have been on pain killers and had gastric upset. My elder brother lives in Canada, he suggested me to visit Specialist Clinic, Gulberg III, Lahore where I had treatment from Dr Riaz A Khan an australian trained chiropractor. He advised MRI of lower spine. In just 3 sessions of treatment, I am pain free and able to run my clinic.
I have excellent experience of getting Chiropractic Treatment :victory:

I am in consultation with a sports chiropractor in Toronto. I didn't felt like they just make up things to earn money from us. It was for ART I met up with a training centre here. By finding the best and experiences chiro, you will be getting effective treatments like medical acupuncture, spinal and other joint manipulation, rehabilitation, physical therapy modalities. And most of these treatments are needed for an athlete who need to shed a lot of pressure on his legs/muscles. Mostly chiropractic sports specialists treat all regions of the body including injuries of the shoulders, knees, elbows, wrists, hands, feet and hips for both injury management as well as performance enhancement.

My experience with Dr Agha Ebrahim is HORRIBLE! This doctor keeps calling you back until you visit him and he rips off money of you. He has no clinic in Islamabad and treats patients in a guest house in sector F-6 Islamabad, which he occasionally visits. He is self-proclaimed the best in country which is a complete false statement!!

My treatment from him was nothing more than a 2 minute back rub and pressing on some pressure points. He claimed this to be chiro session and I will have to pay 10,000 PKR! I told him that this was nothing and my pain still existed. Dr Agha Ebrahim said that I am chronic patient and he will give me discount 5000 PKR / -per sitting and I need to get 20 sittings immediately. He even said I should rent a room in the same guest house and get repetitive sittings. However, he did not ensure any relief.

I just like to add that I am a chronic back pain patient since five years and this is a tossing pain. Such doctors exploit pain of patients like me and rip off huge amounts of money and they have no cure at all!! I pray God does justice

Mine is has been a blessing for my back, he also uses ART to relieve stressed muscles, apart from that he has helped me with my squats, his technique has helped me add substantial weight to my squats , relieved stress from thoracic vertebrae and helped with Lateral Epicondylitis. I would recommend visiting on who is well rated. If i recall correctly you do weight training, it might be helpful for gym injuries.

BEWARE! Dr. Javed Mirza should not be doing chiropractic work. Don't let the niceness and confidence fool you. (I am a retired Army Major living in Lahore and veteran user of chiropractic and know what a good adjustment is) Dr. Javed Mirza should be put out of business. Six months ago I was in a car accident and I went to Dr. Javed for treatment of my injuries. I saw him several times where he "adjusted" me (he doesn't even know how to give a proper adjustment) and stuck some electrodes onto my back that hurt tremendously (to the extent that once I even had to tell him to turn it down).

I hadn't realized how bad he was making me feel - worse than before I saw him - until I asked him for his Chiropractic credentials, but Dr. Javed literally screamed at me in his refusal.

In the end, I had to ditch his clinic and find a new Chiropractor on my own...who actually DID heal me!

Full disclosure: I found some old Chiropractic paperwork of his while cleaning my house today and, as you can see, this was such a bitter experience I had to drop everything and write a rotten review. he should go to jail for his shady practices.

I had a good experience with chiropractic treatment. I live in Islamabad and my first Chiro session was with Dr. Agha.

Dr. Agha is a very knowledgeable doctor that directs you towards the right path when looking for non- invasive treatment. He is extremely friendly, understanding, and genuinely cares for his patients. In my opinion, this is what sets him apart from other chiropractors. He will talk you through the science of what your body is going through, and then thoroughly explain the treatment plan for it. If you stick to it and visit him regularly, after roughly a month you should feel a noticeable difference.

I had severe sciatica with all symptoms of radiation and tingling all the way to my right foot , suffering for almost 5 years and trying meds and seeing several orthopedic doctors it never really went completely away until I came to this clinic. After a detailed exam I started my treatment and gradually my radiating symptoms first disappeared and then my pain completely went away to my surprise!

In a nutshell, Dr. Agha has improved my quality of life immensely in just 2 short weeks with 45 min - 1 hour daily session. I highly recommend him for back and joint related issues.

I hope other patients who are facing these back issues, check him out. Nobody forced me on a ransom to try him.

Hi,

I would like to mention here that chiropractic is a great treatment and my experience with Dr. Javed Mirza has been amazing. He is a great Chiropractor and the only ICA certified Chiropractor in Pakistan.

One of my relative (who referred me later) had severe Sciatica pains, but after just 8 visits, she got 100% cured and from last three months no problems at all. I personally visited Dr. Javed Mirza last month as well due to backache problems and he did the chiropractic adjustments in just few visits. Feeling great now! Strongly recommended!

Chiropractors, if they know their stuff are awesome. I see one for my lower back pain and sometime physiotherapist also. In certain cases I get relief from Chiro, in some other through Physio.

In my opinion (experience of 30 years of chronic lower back pain) 3 main reasons for lower back pain are Injury/Accident, Bad posture (in sitting/standing/use of soft mattress) and lack of physical activity. First one beyond one's control but one can reduce the risk specially when lifting heavy weight (never bend and use upper body to lift the weight, always keep the back straight, bend knees and lift with leg muscles, Never getup straight from lying position, always turn over to one side, swing your legs down the bed and body up supported by an arm, never pull heavy objects instead go to the other side and push, etc)

Watch this to see how they can help in extreme cases
