My take:


Mid term elections were not demand of PTI, if they wanted that they could have just rejected the elections. Its just a bargaining chip in my opinion to pressurize govt to open up the damn 4 constituencies. Its the govt along with ECP, that is messing things up by not listening to PTI's simple demands since past 1.5 years.

PTI only demanded to reopen 4 constituencies, have them thumb verified, identify mistakes, find the causes and culprits, punish them and improve system to fix these issues for future. What's wrong with this demand? Its all legal and under constitution to do such demand.

Secondly, the tipping point at which the situation has reached today is just because of criminal negligence of ECP, SC and Govt. Everyone accepts that magnetic ink wasn't used in 2013 elections as decided before elections. ECP and care taker govt ensured that this ink and special paper will be used in elections, just because it will make sure the thumb impressions can be verified after elections if needed. It was great tool to stop election rigging.

BUT, that ink wasn't used, and hence massive election rigging took place. Look at the results of NA-256 and NA-118 which are opened till date. Who stopped the usage of that ink and provided others to do rigging without the fear of getting caught later?

And what has govt and ECP / SC has done to find the reasons why that ink wasn't used? How many inquiries happened in 1.5 years? How many people from ECP, ROs and Care Taker Govt have been questioned, arrested, convicted or punished for this scam?


By all means, PTI's demands are legitimate. They have right to ask, and have right to protest if their demands are not met. I hope IK won't do anything silly at 14th Aug rally. But what will happen if lets say, govt doesn't listen to their demands even after 14th Aug protest? Next protest will be violent.

today I heard Imran Khan interview, ch nisar has met him, but imran was saying that even if they accept our demands, 14th August march will take place and we will tell the nation how elections were rigged and what are our demands for the future..

so its happening, be ready !

If that is true - I for one will stop supporting PTI. By this logic, PTI will have to go for a long march and put pressure on the government on every issue meaning WASTING THE TIME AND RESOURCES OF THE PEOPLE. PTI will loose its credibility if muk muka happens and IMRAN KHAN wastes the time of the people by having a Jalsa and only telling people what happened. Next time if the demands are not met, no one will trust PTI.

You took it wrong. All PTI is looking for is rigging investigations and election reforms, our main goal is that not some rally or violence. Personally I think PTI should prefer settling things peacefully. If there is a chance for settling this dispute without long march, then PTI should give it a try.

But that's all my personal opinion. I have no party affiliation, so take my words as my personal opinion.

There are two types of people here, 1) simply crazy, the pee pee pee supporter (you probably heard of zardari) they would vote for pee pee pee, always, ALWAYS, its like that it is a part of the religion, you gotta do no matter what, even if a minister kidnaps their wife/daughter from their home in front of their eyes and the minister is from pee pee pee they will still support pee pee pee, yes crazy people!. 2) the other ones are more logical, if you have to choose from the two evils, you pick the lesser of the two evils, these people voted in favor of pee pee pee, thinking that they would be better than NS, this time some of them voted for NS some for PTI and some for other parties, but the crazy people still support pee pee pee

I trust you on that,but Good or bad is matter of opinion & the Nawaz govt has performed very good the economy is back on track,Optimism in the economy is back many Infrastructure Projects are moving & your Economy is gaining momentum once again.Now all of this can be a Big fat lie,but you can't ignore that Rightly or Wrongly there is perception out there about that the Nawaz govt is actually doing good if not great.I personally believe that while PTI should expose Nawaz & Co if there is any exposing to do,but let the govt survive in the mean time you show them how work is done by Delivering in KPK & building Party Base & Structure in Punjab & Sindh

Seems Imran Khan couldn't digest his defeat from Nawaz Sharif after the massive internet Tsunami he created. He doing constant dharna now looks funny. Every few days, some news pops up that Imran Khan doing another dharna.

PML-N will complete entire 5 years term if Nawaz Sharif avoids annoying the army. The dharna of PTI is just a waste of time.
