Well, 90% Bangladeshis don't judge people based on religion. Its just 10% of those who can't judge anyone without religion. Infact 90-95% Bangladeshi Muslims don't know much about Islamic history. BDeshis are converted Muslims by Persian Sufis. We don't know about which religion is true but we know that humanity is a true religion. So we practice humanity and Islam both.

If he was a true liberal, then he would be offended by discrimination against Hindus and Muslims.

The whole point is that he didn't say anything about Modi's remarks against Muslim Bangladeshis. He doesn't care about Muslim Bangladeshis and he is highly intolerant of differing viewpoints -- especially anything critical of India.

That's not very liberal.
