man after analyzing every single aspect of the war horses man i feel how much headche it was been for indian army to what to choose between the two both of them are well matched one is proven and other one is next generation and both are equal well if i had to choose between these two i would have choosen both no matter what probleum i would have been becoz if i choose one of these i always have pain of not choosing other one other wise not to choose even one of them

If you are discussing what india wants to choose, there is a thread in indian section on which one to choose russian gunship or US Apache.

Thread should be moved.

does not make any difference now, its a nuclear war age, India no matter what they acquire it will be useless if Pakistan use Nuclear warheads or vice versa...so such inventories is in my point of view is not significant. let Indian buy 2000 Apaches...wont make any difference b'caz Pakistan may not exercise conventional war with India if God forbid war happens..Chill out brothers...it will be either die or die both cases..so pray for no Indo-Pak war ...

if u want durability then Mi-28, if u want hi-tech and down-time, then apache!

. .
apache it has been proven with a good operating range can reach thr high altitudes just like lch

The mi-28 is not a battle tested platform.. not yet.. a few skirmishes in Chechnya.. perhaps.. but not the high tech war the Apache has fought in.
The Mi-28 has a bailout system.. perhaps useful in emergencies.. whereas the Ah-64 crew has to pray that their crash stressed fuselage keeps them alive.
But at the altitude.. that the Apache was designed to operate at.. NOE.. that is sufficient.
The mi-28 has a small compartment to rescue downed crew as well.. although it is as big as two coffins stacked on top of each other..next to the engine
but enduring a short torture is ok.. if it gets you out of enemy territory..

the 28N.. offers similar weapons capabilities as the Apache.. albeit less refined.. but with a greater payload..

.
my choice is mi 28 . it is cheaper and can carry more payload.

If we are talking about Indian needs.. there is a section for them ! now if i was to choose but offcourse it doesn't matter what i think or want or what we want . I would choose the apache but for Pak armed forces to be more logical i would like to see the super cobras in our forces as per indian selction i can't speak for them just my two cents.

 If using nuclear weapons had been such a simple option then there was no need to spend so much on forces by any nuclear country.

I'm not interested in indian buyings but if i've to choose for PA then i will choose Apache...hi tech is the best detterent against any obsolete enemy.

.
The best buy for the PA.. has discussed a hundred and seventy three times before.. is the AH-1Z..
It offers savings in pilot and maintenance training.. logistics.. etc.
Only problem is the delivery timeline..
A quickfire but more expensive option is a T-129.. it brings with it a high tech platform.. with little in the way of sanction worries.
