What's new

What will be the consequences for a standard people if god forbid that Fatf blacklist Pakistan.

Bin laden was found living in our country quite comfortably. Why are Pakistanis burning their own country for some desert Bedouins? Even Saudis who were clearly involved in 9/11 quickly abandoned Bin Laden yet our ummah bromance with Arabs resulted in huge embarrassment in the world stage.
We don't have anything to do with Bin Laden or with Al-Qaeeda. Our concern is India. Towing US line means ultimately towing Indian line. It's not good for us.

What is your solution? Should we proclaim the Kalifa from Gurdaspur?

Religion and state should never mix, all types of Mullahs Sunni or Shia or Ahmadi should never be allowed anywhere near politics. Pakistan has suffered enough from religious brainwashing we don't need another political caliphate making people's lives miserable.

This is a very good answer. Then why do you bring up the Ummah? Leave religion out of your discussions.

Being an anti-mullah still makes you a mullah. Ok, Mr. Potter?

Mullah interferes in the state so obviously I will bring them up, you seem personally hurt mate, are you a son of some Mullah or one of their fan boys. I hope you're not a fan of that ''medical doctor'' Zakir Naik.

Can you give an example???

And I am not talking about politics. In affairs of states.

Mullah in politics uses both street power and his political influence to turn Pakistan into a hell hole. Do you really need to dig out all the times Mullahs have gone banana over certain laws in Pakistan? If that's not interfering in the state then I don't know what is.

Good question, I hope there is someone in this forum, who can answer adequately.

You already know the answer and this isn't rocket science. When countries place sanctions or ignore you as a trading destination the economy weakens as a whole.

Having said that, Pakistan is way too strategic and the Western bloc cannot afford to place Pakistan on black list. If it does, this will provide full license to the current government to get even closer to China. This is the brute reality.

overseas Pakistanis will not be able to send remittance back home

Definitely. Especially remittances from the Western bloc.
