Thats because Ayub Khan and previous presidents of Pakistan were closely allied to America. They were allied to pacts also like the Baghdad Pact and Seato, which made America supply equipment to Pakistan.

I was wondering lately about what the Pakistani army used in 1965 war against India. I couldn’t find any sources that were reliable enough or told me the information. Can somebody please tell me? Regards.
