yea same happened here..my sibling was attracted to rabbits , me and mom disliked themm...i didnt even touch the rabbit for more than 8 months until i grew some attachment

Billas do not like staying indoors unless you get them done - which imo is cruel. And they are more likely to turn wild if exposed to outdoors for long time. And the girlfriends they bring back home, that's another matter to deal with!

Do you have enough space for it to roam around? Male cats are highly territorial animals (& will fight to protect their territory) and if the house is large enough with a decent open area and plenty of explore then they won't go far.

Just do not feed outside the house and make sure he stays indoors at night. They are like awara kids and if habit of staying out late night develops then it'll stick.

Very few males are lap cats.

Female cats on the other hand are easier but majority become pregnant! That's another syapa but if you have a store/out-building then it becomes easier to manage that bit too. They prefer the easy and comfy indoor life.
