Indian history books are biased, I never read anything about the north eastern kingdoms in my school history books. Learned about them only thru google.

I do not agree with the article but I have more respect for the warriors of the Maratha Empire
and Vijayanagar Empire than for the Rajputs. The warriors of the Maratha Empire defeated
the Mughals and the warriors of the Vijayanagar Empire defeated the Turkic invaders.

The only thing you should seriously take from this martial race piece is that marathas are small and not handsome, obvious truth for everyone to see. Rest is british howgash as usual.
