Some cultures have oneness,togetherness,above religion or race,that is the only reason.

That is very honourable but this one is different.
This code of honour has to do with neighbours,friends from the same neighborhood where it doesnt matter what religion or colour the other is,they are seen as brothers and sisters,aunts and uncles.
There isnt even a thought of what the consequences could be(killed by the Nazis) for the help they give to the Jewish neighbours/friends,its just done.
