Testing of thalassemia is important marker but the research is still inconclusive. It will be introduced once the health coverage is provided to everyone. Not before that. We are moderates and not progressive extremists.

In Iran, they have this service where potential marriageable couples can get tested, the test provides information on whether their future children will be disabled or not. This would benefit Pakistan.
