what is the last realistic age to be a first time father?

60s. If you become father in 60s your son would be fully independent self dependent and more confident in his 20s. But if you become father in 20s then he would be under you most of his life

Interesting,but for me my dad is already 74 and I am still dependent on him and I would say I will get more thanks to Corona cratering the economy

Had a neighbor like that with a 20 yr difference between first and last born. We were like uncle, you need to stop and give a breather to the lady.

If not then it is still better to have most of your children grown up and on their feet before you reach 50 so that you can spend your remaining years without worry about the future of your children.

If the economic situation had allowed, I would have done the same but I had other responsibilities ( being the eldest).

I am like 32 now and currently engaged, expect to marry within next 1 year.

Come on Bro...this is celebrity level stuff ...I really donot want to be a freakish curiosity in society.(this is a parellel life plan I am playing off my head, since I before last yr I planned to be celibate for a while)..my child will feel embarassed of me...and many times the wife does too if there is 20+ years of age difference....I knew an Indian girl when I was working part time at a factory...she was drop dead gorgeous...(I think from the North,Himachal Pradesh)...she had a Punjabi man in his 50s and she was in her 30s, 22 yrs younger than him....a young blonde German guy started taking interest in her and she also started taking interest in him, and they ended up having an affair..more cringeworthy husband worked in the same factory..things became so bad that the floor leader had to travel to the couple's home to mend their marriage...but then she was caught again with that young German dude a couple of months later

At that age---the advantage was that my children were not my competition---they were my future---.

That is the biggest problem young fathers have---they begin to think that their children as their competition---. That is why many a younger fathers are very abusive and controlling / demanding to their children---.

As I mentioned--I could not play out door games with them---that was the biggest problem---.

Ohh I have stories about her ...She was THIRSTY AF for attention from younger males ...this is back in 2013....one day she got hold of me and caught my hand asked me why didnot I come for their daughter's birthday party...Her husband and she being common acquaintances of mine..."Did any of us say anything to hurt you?"..and she just blabbered on, that if any obstacle comes in relationships people should clear it ..I had zero issue with either of them...and she kept on holding my hand...and me being the Turboautist that I am was completely flabbergasted...and it was not only me on whom she pulled such daring tactics...another Sri Lankan friend said that she openly declared in front of him that her hubby had not sexed her for six months (dood was a serious lifter) ..only saving grace, the German guy with whom she cheated, was a really good looking specimen of the human race

no i came here when i was a teenager ...only from now I will again be splitting time between Germany and India because of being a minority stake holder for a small export unit that will provide rings, locks and seals for Industrial Vats in Germany...it is based in Western India

Imo, ideally when your kids should be atleast 30 years old when you die.

Smoking reduces your life.
Drinking reduces your life.
Drugs, well never mind...lol

So, if you smoke and/or drink then you should already reduce your average age to 5-15.

Lets say your average is 70 years. Reduce 15 years. That gives you a life of 55 years. In this case, you should be married and become father at 25.

ANd if you have healthy lifestyle and want to spend rest of your life with your wife then you should get married to a woman who is 5 years older than you. Because on average woman live longer than men. You both should die together instead of you dying earlier and she taking care of you and she dying later all alone. It should be you to take care of her in her dying age.

Anyway, I am 33 and have no intention of getting married and having kids.
