That's very true. Nine out of ten times we, ourselfs are the worst enemy of self. Israel, USA, India, Afghanistan and all others combined have not done the damage Pakistani's have done to themselves and will continue to do to themselves. My thoughts almost converge with yours on most things except for the army. You regard the military as the problem. I regard the military as the thin line that keeps chaos like Iraq, Syria, Libyia or Afghanistan from finishing Pakistan off into mass killing fields divided along sectarian, ethnic, tribal, clan divisions. The biggest threats to Pakistan are:
1. Pakistanis.
2. Pakistanis.
3. Pakistanis.
"We have seen the enemy and he is us."
Unfortunately not. The sample of voters we have on PDF is atypical of Pakistan. Excluding the possibility that non Pakistani's also voted the results are actually distressing. PDF is a platform that celebrates nationalism which actually is 'haram' to the Mullahists'. Furthermore the cohort of Pakistani's on PDF are above average educated, many from USA, Europe, Australasia and from urban backgrounds in Pakistan. Thus they are the most plugged in and open to the world Pakistani's you will find. Despite that fair few votes have gone to Israel, USA, Afghanistan and other. Which presumably will be Libtards like me.So looks like mullahism won.

Glad that it is mentioned right up there in second post so that everyone can see that this thread is fundamentally flawed.
"Tolerance" is a rather insecure basis for relations: it implies continued tensions. A better basis is to rely on a quality Prophet Muhammed (and imo some of his immediate successors) reportedly possessed and that the Israelis display in abundance but that Pakistanis are forbidden to display at all....The conditions that would have to obtain in Pakistan for us to recognize Israel would be tolerance, pragmatism -
