This is govt text book for physics class 9 and 10, I studied the same book.

There are different textbook boards depending on area, region and province, their content vary.

The one I studied comes from Sindh textbook board, it has religious texts too in it.

According to most Pakistani's of Deobandi and Ahl-e-Hadith order, the noble prize in Physics was won by a former infidel, who had to leave Pakistan for safety of his life. Not only that, we even desecrated his grave.

One more clarification here. Dr. Salam had left soon after the Qadyanis were declared non-Muslim in the constitution. It was 1974 and he had yet to win and receive the Nobel prize (1979). He DID NOT leave because of danger to his life but in protest of why Qadyanis were declared non-Muslim. At least this is the reason given.
