Pakistan needs to do Economic census, but it should not be done by Ministry of Finance in order to make businesses open their data like how many employees they get, revenues and so on. In Indonesia we have economic census, so it is why we can have such number

Undocummented economy is not only unique to Pakistan, but also all developing country where it can be easily seen on tax ratio

Here is the situation in Indonesia :

Despite that there is no spike in 2016 or 2017 GDP number despite economic census that happened in around 2016, Indonesian GDP is still calculated based on "usual" economic growth in the 2016 year and also in the next year

So no spike like what happen with Vietnam 2019 GDP which is much bigger than previous years due to calculation improvement/change.

So I dont know why.......

so your.gdp just. slides,between 270 to 290 billion constantly last 5 years..

the imf .world bank .. or any reputable organisation state pak gdp around 285 billion for 212 million Pakistani citizens which gives,a,per capita,income 1344 dollars,
if we have any reputation source ie several sources,suggesting 340.billion or 1500.dollar per capita income Income

the worry for pakistan is based on your trajectory and Bangladesh in 5 years,they will.have the bigger gdp their forex is already double yours,

true this is what i always thought of too, i think the only thing Haseena learn from indians is how to forge GDP numbers. or else if a country GDP or per capita increased it effects sales of every thing very quicky which i have never seen in Bangladesh despite they are growing on papers very fast since last 1.5 decades and its only indians who dance like monkeys to compare Bangladesh with Pakistan while India with China
