On a mere technicality because GB is a part of the disputed princely state of Jammu and Kashmir !

But its true even my friends from GB are like 'We're not Kashmiris....make us a Province of Pakistan...for heaven's sake' !

Buttsy .... historically they have never been part of J&K .... It was Pak that "tagged" them with J&K for a "positive" outcome when the refrendum was conducted... if you know what i mean...

P.S: GB itself was not a united state... it had states like Shigar,Hunza etc.

Actually it wasn't Pakistan that did that; it was the Treaty of Amritsar signed in 1846 that acceded control of present-day Gilgit-Baltistan to Gulab Singh the ruler of J&K by the British.

And continued with that shit...? we could have easily settled it as a province back in 48 when the Gilgit Baltistanis liberated the region...
