What if we lose Pakistan to China

. .
Great fun reading, but misinformed, the US has already lost Pakistan - Good for the US? sure, why not - Good for India? Most certainly.

Let Pakistan deal with it's multiple insurgencies as best as they determine they can - reality is that the real power in Pakistan is the Pakistan army, unless there is real change there, Pakistanis and the rest of the world is have to deal with radical Islamism promoted by the Pakistan army.

.
Aren't we trying to fence the border with Pakistan? Good thing Afghanistan is not next door.

At the Indo-Pak border ,I want GoI to build this:

instead of this:

That is so bitter, yet so true.

Yup all it will take is an order from Saudi Arabia to the clergy in Pakistan, to start hating the killer of Muslim Uyghurs, "the non believer China". And half of Pakistan will have to follow the orders of those clergymen. There is strife between the "Islamists" and the Pakistani Military establishment as it is.

This is what happens when you are a religious state. You are no better than a puppet.

Dont understand why cant China and USA help mantain Pakistan?

you are right its bad luck of pakistan that pakistan army is a power center while there should be Democratic govt should be power center

what you want more powerful pakistan as na nation, or pakistan army

dont you think army should be a part as other institute

The problem is, we ought to have our trade with a friendly Afghanistan, than just build walls around us and create another Iran.

Most plausible solution that appears to me is for India to have a completely open free trade with Pakistan. India's economy is strong, and market is mature. Pakistan will suffer more in terms of dependency. Once India has a strong control on Pakistan's trades and traders, everything, including militancy, can be controlled.

But those sitting in Rawalpindi are not fools, they will make sure this day never comes to fruition!

True. :)

I'm not surprised. Why should militancy against India be stopped ey? No matter if that means better bilateral relations and better economy for both countries.

America has already lost pakistan. China is in our hearts and minds. The only pakistani people that look to america are our corrupt politicos. Sooner or later when we have true representatives of the pakistani people pakistan will be more anti american than any other country in the world.:pakistan::china:

Bad luck? I don't know about that - people deserve the kind of government they get but for Pakistanis the bigger problem is a deep suspicion, are they really Islamicans? They know they cannot be Muslims, but may be they can be Islamicans, ro some kind of half azzed Arbi - and that's better than being a Pakistani and a Muslim, surely.

. .
The "analysis" is full of so much twisted logic that it's almost funny. Pakistan belongs to the Pakistanis, a proud and independent people fully capable of making its own choices and fulfilling its own aspirations. China and Pakistan have become close over the decades precisely because both nations implement a policy of mutual respect and non-interference in each other's internal affairs.
