i dont know about the world but surely pak and ind would have fought atleast 2 more wars if there would have been no nuclear weapons. nuclear weapons have prevented many wars in past 60-70 years but once the war once breaks out it will be the end of civilization.

Well US and NATO will be still there so thats not going to happen until USSR defeated them in some long term war.

Not really , the Soviets would have steam rolled into Europe right after the capture of Berlin, nothing could have stopped the red tide, only America would be sparred
