What happened to the Syrian refugees who got stuck in Turkey?

displacement-map.jpg

The lands of modern Turkiye have been taking immigration uninterruptedly for 150 years. Not only Iraq and Syria, but today we receive the most immigration from sub Saharan Africa and Central Asia (including Afghanistan). Turkiye is unofficially moving towards a population of 100 million.

In the last 30-40 years, there is not only Syria, hundreds of thousands who came from the Iraq wars, even Bosnians, Albanians, Bulgarian/Balkan Turks, Afghan Kyrgyz...

As for Syrian refugees, despite all the provocations, 95% of the community will not have an integration problem. If there is an plan to the contrary, a sufficient size of Syrian territory has also been secured for the protected Syrian people.
Wait,wait,wait...1914-1923 Greeks 850,000? Where's 1 million refugees? Disappeared?

This is what happens when bending over for Ushraeli interests ... Destroying neighbouring country, threatening to wipe out alevi, shia and christian communities and allowing yourself to become transit country for terrorists going to Syria. Stupid ottomanist nonsense. Now millions of Syrians want to stay and make more kids in Turkey and if Turkey deports them whole their "we support oppressed brothers story" will be destroyed forever.
Well said. They meddled in Syria, they funded and armed the barbarians, now they have millions of Syrians there. Which I feel for the Turks for getting sick of so many refugees and immigrants, but they helped destabilize Syria.

.
Why they wouldn’t? People are being bombed, gassed and tortured by their own governments, and then you wonder why they were taken in? Ask yourself, why 3 millions left to Turkey and 2 millions to Lebanon and other big numbers to other countries

Gassed? Lol ok sure. Turkey as well as a number of other countries, helped destabilise Syria. But it was Turkey that ended up having so many refugees, because of the proximity. Why they left? Because of the war. Erdogan should have calculated that there would be a large number of refugees, yet he got involved in the war.
