What Happened Before The Big Bang: BBC Documentary

.
Concepts such as before as we know it may not make sense as time came in to existence at the moment of creation.

. . .
well let me rephrase it, the beginning of time and space.

Matter neither can be created nor destroyed. Time and space has always existed and our universe expands through inflation and then collapses due to gravity and then it starts again. According to theoretical Physics here at least two brane with space in the middle and when they touch there is an explosion and create new big bang. There at least 10 ** 10 ** 10 ** 7 multiverses. We are only beginning to scratch the surface.

They make sense because it is just an assumption that time and space came into existence at the time of big bang. There is never evidence for that. There are also many issue with the whole big bang theory. The most important of all is how come everything came into existence from nothing.

There are new theories that are predicting that big bang never happened and they are pretty well explaining our Universe

The inflation occurs from the matter that existed in the previous Big Bang. Since matter cannot be created.

This is just juggling of mathematics. Even if we live in a multiverse, we cannot observe other universes as our universe is a closed system, hence physical constrained to observe other Universes.

That is why it is Theoretical Physics !

Inflation explains why our Universe is uniform. One of the biggest drawback of big bang theory was it failed to explain why Universe expanded so fast and so uniform. Just look at the cosmic background radiation map (WMAP) of the early universe, you will get the idea. Inflation occurred just after the big bang and was there until 10^−36 seconds. This again is a theory by Alan Guth of MIT.

M theory actually says that a world can exist where we can see "time" to be flowing backward.

Ok, so if we can't observe anything outside our universe, how exactly can we know for certain that it is a closed system. You actually have it backwards, we are physically constrained to seeing past a certain point in any direction (speed limit of light) so you assume that it is a closed system.

That's like saying Earth is a closed system because the atmosphere ends at a certain point.

You mean Energy? Matter can be destroyed and created, energy can't. However the amount of energy in a system can decrease or increase, this can in turn effect Gravity, which effects whether the universe expands or contracts. Also the rate at which energy increases and/or decreases must be considered, and the mass lost too.
