What halts India & Afghanistan from making peace with Pakistan?

A big step towards some sort of peace with Pakistan would be if Pakistan stops thinking about Muslims living in India and starts concentrating on Pakistanis living in Pakistan.

We never think about Indian muslims. Kashmiris though are not Indian muslims.

Now only left eastern neighbour.. so we have 1 enemy. now calculate your own.

Regarding Afghanistan, the Afghans think the same about you so it doesn't matter what you feel about them. Its has a big enough boundary with you and they are hostile with you Period.

Iran has in the past created trouble for you in Baluchistan, even shelled and fired at Pakistani locations. You don't have single military base because you simply cannot afford it right now. You have to fight the Taliban's, Indians and now ANA.
Further India has a military base at Tajikistan, though you don't have a direct border with them, but Pakistan is all surrounded dude.

And regarding the satellite states, one of them has almost as big as a economy as yours and growing much faster than you, and we all know how much our neighbours hate us, when they cancelled the SAARC meeting in India to show support to Pakistan..... ooops.
