After second world ended eastern European refugee Jews came in droves in Palestine, made a deal with British colonial era hotshots to help them capture turkey or part of ottoman empire, in return asked a land in amidst of Muslim populated Palestine to form a state for Jews,by the Jews.to get rid of these Zionist refugees Britain granted their wish and officially hand over a very tiny part of Palestine for them to settle down. The money came from all the relocated refugee European who by that time were doing businesses and trades in UK/USA/Russia and other part of Europe.
First it was a boho kind of groups who tried their best to mingle in locally. After 1965 the scenario changed rapidly, within a short span of time with USA behind them Israel not only became a legal country and gain access to in,it started occupying Palestinian territories and bringing more Jews from all over from USA/Europe to settle down in occupied Palestinian land.

1967 - Israel captures Gaza, later establishes some settlements.
1994 - Israel establishes Palestinian autonomy on 85% of Gaza territory.

Mamluks razed all port cities in Palestine. They revived by Ibrashim Pasha after the conquest in 1831. He settled there his soldiers and brought workers from Egypt. So coastline from Gaza to Yaffo are mostly Egyptian migrants.

During the Egyptian era the village had expanded. Ibrahim Pasha - the big son of Egypt ruler Muhammad Ali Pasha - had brough (to Yafa city and it's surroundings) an Egyptian workers; They settled in Shaykh Muwannis village and cultivated it's lands.
