I believe I was discussing about US soldier raping Japanese woman. Japan committed inhumane crimes against China, I know. But what about Korea, VN, Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Phillipine, etc? Were we treated differently? Why is it always China who has the right to hate Japan? It's more than 70 years ago. What's more is that if those Chinese victims had not fallen victims to Japanese, they would have been victims of your own civil war. Search for Nanking in the first page, you will see my point.

Chinese hate Japan like a duty, a responsibility. I bet your school teaches kids something like this: to be a true Chinese, you must hate Japan for what they did to our people 70 years ago. Even though China and Japan were at war, even though Japan was a facist country back then, even though the modern Japan are advanced, polite and hard-working nation, it doesn't matter you all must hate Japan.

Nationalism is about unity, regionalism is about dividing people. Which is why the CPC is so opposed to regionalism.

I ALWAYS vote for the pro-Beijing camp in all the HK elections, which dominates the HK political sphere and gives the Beijing government enormous influence here. I also go on every public march that I can in favor of the pro-Beijing camp.

It is the votes of me and my family that allow Beijing to have unprecedented influence in the HK political system through the dominance of the pro-Beijing camp.

Now, what do American foreigners do, apart from trying to divide Chinese people and promote regionalism? Obviously you have no right to vote here, and as a non-Chinese you have zero influence in the Chinese political system.
